Russian badge of Emperor Nicholas II, dedicated to one of the most striking and tragic figures of the Romanov dynasty. It is performed from brass and enamel in the form of the St. George Cross with screw at the back, size 4 x 4 cm, weight 22g. In the centre is a royal profile and a circular inscription: "Emperor of Russia Nicholas II".
The badge was issued twice in a limited edition by order of the St. Petersburg public organisation "Escort in Memory of Sovereign Emperor Nicholas II" in 2017 to the 100th anniversary of the death of the Russian Empire and in 2018, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the execution of the royal family and at the same time the 150th anniversary of the birth of Nicholas II.
